Now that you have a bit of Brittney’s background (if you haven’t read our last post go read it!) and how she started out. We want to introduce you to “the new kids on the block” the people that Brittney hired to give her clients the BEST possible experience. Meet Sydney, Liv, and Erika!
Sydney – Buyer’s Specialist
Hi all! I’m Sydney Stricklin, the buyer’s specialist! My journey to aro began at the beginning of 2021 when my New Years Resolution was to take more chances and trust in the universe. The years leading up to then, I had a few unsuccessful attempts at colleges and jobs – nothing quite felt right. I ended up taking a leap of faith in January and decided pursue a career in real estate!
I was studying and getting ready to be an agent when a family friend brought me to a class hosted by none other than my humble mentor, Brittney McAllister. We met that day (the day before I took the NE real estate exam) and really hit it off. She told me to call her when I passed the real estate exam, I passed and she welcomed me with open arms. Her team at the time desperately needed another licensed member so I stepped in as the showing agent. Later that year in October 2021, I was trusted to take on all of the buyer business and the rest is history. Stumbling into a place like this honestly feels like fate and I’m so lucky I was planted here to have the opportunity to bloom and grow. I love working alongside Brittney and having the support of Liv & Erika makes aro truly feel like home!
Liv – Director of Marketing
Hi everyone! I’m Liv Bidroski I am the Director of Marketing for the aro real estate group! I started my journey at aro in October 2021 as a part-time intern transaction coordinator. I had never heard of this job before and was looking to expand my knowledge before I graduated college. Before this position I did not know the slightest thing about real estate, but the minute I began I knew this is what I wanted to do. During this time I was in my final year at Creighton University where I got my BSBA in Business Intelligence and Analytics : Digital Media and Design (it sounds way cooler than it is 🙂 ) just this past May. Since then I started as the Director of Marketing and client relations! I work with our clients after the transaction is closed to invite them to events, giveaways and other fun things we do.
Brittney, Sydney, and Erika are THE most supportive and fun people to be around, we are constantly laughing together. They help me to become a better and more confident person and employee daily!
Erika – Director of Operations
¡Hola! My name is Erika Payan and I am the Director of Operations for aro real estate group. I started my career in real estate in late August 2021 on the administrative side of Legacy Homes. I recently started working directly with the ladies at aro, whom I appreciate plenty for the opportunities they have given me. I got my real estate license in March, so I’ve been learning the ins and outs of being an agent from Brittney and Sydney! Before real estate, I was a property manager at an apartment complex for seven years. I needed a change after having my first son.
My first year in this profession consisted of a lot of learning which I LOVE to do! I enjoy learning new things and being able to grow on a personal and professional level. Other things I am passionate about are spending time with my family, my culture, and helping people. I am originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco, which is the second biggest city in México. I am bilingual, so if you know anyone that needs a translator don’t hesitate to ask! I am extremely lucky to be part of aro because we support each other to become better individuals.
